So, while I lived in alaska, I took the required handgun training course and got my CCW. went through the whole background check and all that stuff. with my alaska license, I did not have to have any intant background checks to buy guns while the license was in effect. So, my question is, since I have been fingerprinted and fbi checked and approved, do I have to go through the whole process again to get my georgia license? pay everyone, fingerprints and the whole nine yards?

    nice site. thanks all

Sorry, but the AK license is only going to be an alternative to the NICS check in AK.

If you're a GA resident now, your AK license is just a wallet filler.
