Sand and dust from the Middle East coloring our evening sky in Georgia?

Didn't get a pic but about a week ago we had a evening sky where it looked like the whole sky was on fire. It was mezmurizingly beautiful.

The wind was blowing some that night on the south side where I live, so tree limbs were moving around quite a bit. The sky was orange and the branches moving around made it look like a fire. I first saw it out of the corner of my eye through the living room window. For a second I thought the house on the street behind me was on fire.
