And was wondering if and when I had to renew my GWL ? Will it still be valid even tho I would no longer live in Cherokee or do I just renew it when it expires? I do NOT want it to expire and not have a new one valid. So what should I do and how is bartow when it comes to issuing and time length?

Your current license is a state license issued by a county. If you move from county to county, it is good until expiration. Heck, it is even good if you move out of state and that state is reciprocal.

I can not answer your question about Bartow and their time line.

When I applied in Bartow in 2008 it took 10 business days. Go into the probate office, fill out paper work, make payment, get e-printed, come back and pick up in 10 days they said. I think I read somewhere they're mailing them now though.
