Marlin .22 Magnum

    Looking for a Marlin .22 Magnum. Specifically, Model # 983S, or 983T. They are both bolt action, the S is stainless barrel,wood stock, the T is blued and synthetic stock. Wally World doesn't carry either model, and Stoddards, and Gables in Douglasville, didn't have much either. Looking for used or new. If anyone knows who might have one, give me a shout. Thanks

    How about the model that is stainless steel with a black synthetic stock?

    I think that is the one with bull barrel. My buddy at work has one, and says he doesn't really care for it, as it does not feel balanced at all. I held one similiar to it, and it did feel pretty fore end heavy. May try Bass Pro shops today. Or (cough, cough) Dicks Sporting Goods.
