Why did the music keep playing for 30 seconds after he got smashed down and his security and props people rushed the stage to pull the thing off him?
I don't generally go see singers live, but I'd expect a band with real musicians to supply the music that the singer will sing to.

That's what I saw also. Supposedly Manson was nursing a broken ankle or foot which may have contributed to the accident.I think he started climbing on it, and it tipped over on top of him.
