agreed. I'd rather have highs in the 50s over highs in the 80s. The only outdoor activity you can't do in November weather is swim.
Why not swim? They heat pools
November through March is my time. Woods time. Hiking and camping. When a campfire and sleeping bag feel good. No bugs. You can see things in the woods, and worry much less about stepping on a copperhead or rattler.

Got to Cabin on the East side of the Catalooche Divide Sunday late. Nice snow was falling and some accumulation. A crisp 26 this morning. Will be heading into Little Cataloochee this morning and then up Caldwell Fork to camp till Friday.Hope you all have a great week.32SF in tow!

I agree 250% there. I am willing to get down to a loin cloth and rubber flip flops in hot weather but I just cannot seem to get enough clothing on to stay warm in winter.
I love the cold! Can't stand the heat. Drove to work this morning in a jacket and beanie with the heat on but the windows down. Refreshing!
I don't like the heat either, but I'll take it over the cold. Apparently, I'm at the age where I have become extremely cold-natured. Once I get cold, it takes a really long time for me to get warm again.

Cold front coming here to Puerto Rico tomorrow, supposed to drop into the high 80’s. Thank God there is plenty of firewood lying about.
