I cannot find the original thread here using the search function, but the 67 year old man in Ohio who shot the trespasser who was walking on his lawn was sentenced to life in prison.

I don't remember their being such a posting. There was one recently where the guy "broke in and I broke him out" but that was not about walking on someones lawn.

(and that fishing one too)
