This thread is mainly for Christians to discuss politics and why they believe their politics match up the closest with what God says in His Bible. Christian Anarchy is the most consistent position if one takes an honest look at the old testament, and even a few things Jesus said, even in the riddle to confuse the Pharisees, so He could postpone the goverment jailing Him or killing Him early before God's perfect timing. Romans 5.

Marxist/Socialist Christians on the left justifying all types of theft so they can turn around and give it to people who did nothing to earn it honestly, corporate or individually, and Pro-war Christians on the right are actually both in the tyranny column. You cannot be truly Pro-life if you are Pro-war as we see from constant war mongers who can always fund a way to rationalize and support any war, any intervention, aggression, coercion by the state.

I disagree completely.

Goverment are only of this earth, comprised of people who want to claim rule over me God is something different. Goverment didn't create me.

I didn't make this thread to atheist christian bash. It has a different topic and purpose.

This thread is for people who claim to be christian last time we talked you said you were atheist.

Jesus was not an anarchist. He didn't himself participate in government (nor did he marry, or do numerous other normal things for men of his age and circumstances).
But he did not advocate against government either-- not by overthrowing it, nor by just resigning from it and leaving the area where any civil rules claimed to rule.

John the Baptist was a holy man and prophet of God. Jesus said so in Matthew 11:9.

John the Baptist was asked by tax collectors and soldiers if they, hated agents of a corrupt system of government, could be baptized.
The answer to the tax collectors was YES, so long as they only collected taxes fairly as authorized by law.
The answer to the soldiers was YES, so long as they did not steal or extort people to get extra money beyond their gov't salary.
(Luke 3:12).

I think Jesus was above politics. With that said, God said in Samuel, that if they created government, it would be bad and very corrupt. Same thing still today. Nothing in the bible says we have to have government. It certainly doesn't support it.

Goverment's being created by men are because of our sinful nature to try to control and steal from other people, with force. With threatening their safety and life.

Why is this hypocrisy? I am made in God's image and therefore required to protect and honor my life and others lives. Including those unborn who are unable to protect themselves. I am not required to roll over and die when someone else decides to stake a claim to my life through war or any other means.

Your talking about self defense, not pro interventionalist.
