I was flipping through The Shotgun News the other day and saw what looks like a really good value for a home defense shotgun.
It's the "Escort" shotgun made (or imported?) by Legacy Sports International (www.legacysports.com)
But there's nothing "sporting" about this shotgun.
18" barrel with a big flash suppressor. Tactical black poly furniture. Pistol grip stock. Ghost ring sights that sit up tall above the bore. Fixed butt stock has a built-in holder for 2 extra shells (or specialty shells, like slugs or flash-bangs, etc.)
It has an upper Picatinny rail on top of the receiver and another accessory rail on the underside of the fore-end.
It comes in either SEMI-AUTO or PUMP. Two different models of the same basic shotgun (but the semi-auto version weighs half a pound more).
And the Mfg. Suggested RETAIL price is only $399. The Dealer price is not in the ad, but I assume it's much less.
What do y'all think?
