Kroger has now announced that they will stop selling "Assault Rifle" themed magazines. They will be pulling current magazines. They say they will continue to sell other gun magazines, just not assault rifle ones. I expect the rest of the gun magazines will disappear from their shelves soon as well.

So they can put covers over magazines at the checkout so as not to offend certain people, but gun magazines have to be removed from the shelf. Ok. Hypocrites.

Nothing tragic about that one, it's a good-guy-with-a-gun story

My Publix in Cumming has several gun magazines, three of them with scary assault rifles or assault shotguns on the cover.

Some say there is no such thing as an assault rifle. But now it is going into the Merriam Webster dictionary so we can all agree what it is.

The Rome Publix is still carrying various gun mags. Although they were tastefully relegated to the upper racks with the steroid abuser mags proudly out front.

Assault rifle is a legitimate term going back to the German StG 44 of WWII.

M-W previously had an entry for assault rifle. What they did was update it in accordance with political correctness and The Narrative.

    M-W's old definition:
    M-W's new definition:

Words, like the Constitution, can be reinterpreted to mean whatever who's blowing smoke up your ass wants them to mean. :righton:
