Is a Kimber Pepper Blaster 2 (or very similar device) legal to carry in a location off-limits to guns in GA? How about in school zones (K-12 or private colleges, etc.)?

Is the pepper considered a projectile? I think that was one interpretation of the current school weapons law--something about anything that shoots a projectile. If the Code Commission, the Governor, and the courts had not nullified all of HB826, then it would have been for sure legal.

I don't know if any code section prohibiting Pepper Spray from any of those locations.

Weapon as defined by a "school safety zone" in 16-11-127.1

Of course this is for stun guns, but HB792 passed and signed into law in 2016 "Campus Carry Lite" Stun Gun Bill changes 16-11-127.1 subsection(c) which has not been updated in the code on GPDO or GCO's website.

It uses a non-aerosol pyrotechnic charge to launch the pepper.

Not sure, but I believe you can openly carry one of these:
