An article on the front page of B section today in the Atlanta paper described how Kennesaw passed an ordinance to ban smoking outdoors (in parks). The mayor will sign the ordinance on his return to town next week, and the ordinance goes into effect in February. The rationale for banning smoking outdoors was the exposure to children of second hand smoke. They did it for the children.

rome-floyd county recently passed the same thing. In fact it is posted EVERYWHERE inside the parks around here. Not a single "no firearms", but everywhere a gate had an opening for a car or person had the no tobacco sign.
