GCO wins against Chatham probate judge

John Monroe about the GCO v Chatham Probate Judge case -

"Today the Court of Appeals reversed the Superior Court of Chatham County in our case against the probate judge. In doing so, the court ruled that judicial immunity does not bar suits for declaratory judgments against probate judges in their individual capacities.

There will be further proceedings. Too soon to know what will happen, but we'll be back in superior court."

    Order is attached.

So, a higher Court told the Chatham County Probate Judge he had to follow state law. Who woulda thought we had judges in Georgia that had to be told?

Great work, Atty. John Monroe and Georgia Carry!

My friend went in to Chatham County probate on 10/14/2020 for her appointment she set 2 months ago back in August to get her GWCL. She received it yesterday in the mail. 10/19/2020 Very surprising.

Getting sued will make you clean up your act (sometimes).
