"It's disturbing that there are people with full-carry permits, walking around with loaded guns, who have never had to justify why they need a full-carry license,'' Schwartz said recently. After seeing what happens in Georgia, the only state that has judges in charge of license issuing, why in the hell would any other place want to do the same thing?

Many of the county's requirements for amending a pistol permit have no basis in law, Murphy said, describing a Pistol License Information Handbook published by county police that outlines the county's permit-application process as "fatuous twaddle that is calculated to intimidate and set traps for unwary pistol license applicants."

"They're trying to discourage people from exercising their rights by making it as complicated as it can be," Murphy said.

If I read the article correctly he has a good point there.
