Was there music involved Macktee, and if so, who's the leader of the band? (Hee hee).

I remember that program, and if I recall correctly, there was nothing goofy about it.

As Mickey told the judge, "I didn't say she was crazy Your Honor, I said she was freaking Goofy!"...

There are/were some advantages to growing up in the 50s and 60s, wouldn't you agree Macktee?

One of the seminal moments of my youth was watching one of the "stars" of the program, and I'll bet Macktee knows which one. (Hint: It wasn't Jimmy.)

This is Macktee's topic, so I'll let him inform you... and I guess you're right GG. Sorry Kiddo.

OK, here's a hint for youse kids...

As Taler said, it wasn't Jimmy!

"She" was, and still is although in very poor health, Annette. Darlene was prettier but little 12 year-old Annette just had that something special about her. One thing special is she's about three weeks younger than I and we went thru those akward years together. She did it far less akwardly I might add...

There was this group of kids featured in a wonderful TV show way back in the beginning of time when TV was only available in black and white. Even before the remote control had been invented. Yeah. Truly, that long ago...!!!

If I did this correctly, you should be able to see by clicking on this:

Annette is in front on the right.

    Everyone together now........

"Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me.........."

OK, so I shouldn't quit my day job to audition for American Idol.

    Mack,

I'm not sure if the people in their 20's will remember the Mickey Mouse Club.

Lol Ramm. Speaking for myself, "I" was my dad's remote control. Change the channel, turn the volume up, adjust the rabbit ears. The old man said jump, and I said "how high?"

In retrospect, it was probably more environmentally friendly back then. No batterys ending up in a landfill. I mean, I was eating anyway,... and the general thought was why have kids if you can't make 'em change the channel, mow the lawn, wash the car, etc.

There were only three channels and if the President was on forget about it.

    Man I'm getting old.

Something I don't understand about people my age today is that when there is a Presidential address on TV they change the channel.

It pisses me off to no end.
