Paulding county tells me it is not legal to carry a gun in your pocket without a holster.I say it is now due to SB 308.who is right?

well i guess paulding cops don't know that I had one take my gun from me and try to charge me with carrying with no holster took me 14 days to get my gun back.and then they told me again it was illegal to carry with no holster in paulding county I informed them of SB 308 and one told me he read it and it is still not allowed
