After only 1 year of allowing them, Indiana has gone back to banning them.
What are they worried about?
Isn't a 7-14 month waiting period, $200 tax, background check(s), and a several-page application requirement not burdensome enough for them???
Did somebody actually go through all that, legally, and then commit a violent felony crime with one of these NFA short-barreled long guns??

Meanwhile, criminals are still free to buy 18" shotguns and $4 hacksaws and do their thing.

Indiana gun law report correction and clarification

INDIANA (21Alive) -- Thursday evening, 21Alive reported on new laws going into effect in Indiana come July 1.

We reported a law about sawed off shotguns and short barreled shotguns had been reversed. To clarify, they will remain legal in the state of Indiana.

Senate Bill 433 repealed the prohibition on sawed off shotguns in Indiana.

I was gonna say....Indiana is about as gun friendly as Georgia...i couldn't see them reversing this.

Thanks Nemo for clarifying that.
