I have a trivia game on Power Point that posts a question with multiple choice answers (a,b,c,d OR T/F). Every 5 seconds it takes away one of the wrong answers until you are left with only the right answer displayed w/ an explanation, then it displays the next question. I would like to have one like this, with gun law trivia, for the GCO booths.

Example:
You can open carry a handgun in Georgia...
a) without a license
b) with a license
c) Georgia is concealed carry only

The question would be displayed for 5 seconds with all the answers, then one of the wrong answers would disappear, 5 seconds: next wrong answer gone, etc. When you are only left with the correct answer, "b", the appropriate code section would also be displayed. Then move on to the next question.

This could be displayed on a laptop and passed around pretty easily.

Anyone want to help me with this?

Feel free to post up example questions.

Code:
1)Is ankle carry legal?

2)It is illegal for a GWL holder to carry concealed at the following locations:

A) At a parade
B) At a courthouse
C) At a political rally
D) At a city park
E) All of the above

3)The following features of a rifle require special licensing, paperwork and tax stamp:

A) Magazine containing more than 10 rounds
B) Barrel length of 18 inches
C) Collapsable 6 position stock
D) Fully automatic firing capability
E) Whenever marked "LEO/GOVT ONLY"

4)The following kind of ammunition is illegal for private citizens:

A) Bullet weight heavier than 124 grain
B) Any caliber greater than .38 special
C) Jacketed hollow points which are bonded
D) Any type of centerfire +P load
E) None of the above

5) A holster is required to carry a firearm

A) True, concealed only
B) True, all forms of carry
C) True, Open carry only
D) False

6)"State pre-emption" means that Georgia State firearms laws:

A) May not be pre-empted by county or municipal ordinance or regulation
B) May be pre-empted by county law but not by municipal regulation
C) May only be pre-empted by large municipalities such as Atlanta, Macon, etc
D) May only be pre-empted with the approval of a county Sheriff
E) May only be enforced with the cooperation of the Georgia State Police

7) In Georgia, a GWL is issued to a person:

A) By the Georgia Bureau of Investigation
B) By the county Sheriff
C) By the county Probate Judge
D) By the State Attorney General
E) By the Chief of police

8) In Georgia, a GWL provides for firearms to be carried by a person:

A) Only when unloaded and fully separated from all ammunition
B) Anywhere on their body either openly or concealed, loaded or unloaded
C) Only above the waist when the firearm is loaded
D) Only unloaded when the firearm is concealed
E) Only when unloaded, or if loaded only when loaded with fewer than 7 rounds

I can't help, but my son could (25SockMonkey), even though he's deployed. I'd love to have something like this at my table! I'm assuming I could put it on an IPad too?

If you can run Power Point on your iPad, I don't see why you couldn't.

Here is the original thread about that kind of concept: http://www.georgiapacking.org/forum/vie ... &start=120
I remember that thread! 12 pages of some great ideas! There's a video on the last page of a prototype game I came up with.

I want concentrate on the power point for right now, cause i think it'll be pretty quick to put together with a few people working on it at once.

I like GCO logo labeled ballons, and an AirSoft range, but those cost bucks. An age old axiom says that you have to spend money to make money. How is that different than GCO recruiting?

I spend a lot, out of pocket, to promote GCO. I'm exceedingly dedicated to GCO (Adopt-A-Highway Project, Gun Shows, other venues (Tea Party rallies, Kiwanis Clubs, churches, etc.), Business Cards, and public speaking.) That said, I'd like to see more spent on the promotion of GCO, other than recruiting at gun shows. We're in a freakin' rut! I've ventured outside of that rut, with tables at other events (Oliver Hardy Days), but we should be recruiting hundreds, if not thousands at a crack! When do we start filling newspapers and magazines with ads? Jerry does the best job he can do to get us on TV, but can't we do more?

CountryGun - This is the kind of stuff I'm looking at with that my "Roll Call" thread.
