And I mean computer geeks in a nice, friendly way :shattered:

Is there anyway to download a video from you tube, turn it into something else I can save on my computer? I have an assignment for one of my classes and part of it is a video presentation. If anyone can help, I would be most appreciative!

Here is the video I need downloaded.

If you use FireFox, there is an add on called: Video DownloadHelper https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/ you can install.

Once you have that, there is a free program called Format Factory http://www.formatoz.com/ that will convert the flv file Download Helper will save to whatever format you want (wmv, mp4, avi, etc).

PM me if you need help to set up.

Keepvid.com is ok, but most of the files it saves are flv or mp4 only, and it doesn't work on all websites.
