Hello All,

I found this site about a week ago looking around for GFL info and I must say theres alot of that.I applied for my GFL about 2 weeks ago so I guess will see how long it takes to get it even though I was told 3 weeks at the Sheriffs Dept.

With my job I work on atm's so since my employer does'nt have any rules against carrying a weapon, thats what I'm going to do.I'm not so worried about servicing them in the daytime but nighttime is whats dangerous. There's too many idiots in the world these days so you'd best protect yourself the best way you can.

Amen to that last part of your post. What county are you in? They told you 3 weeks? That's cool. I was told 4-6 weeks and it took 5 weeks, so they weren't lying. Welcome, and enjoy your stay.
I live in Newton.I believe I saw a couple of other people receive there GFL's in Newton pretty fast so who knows.

Hmmm . . . :-k Three weeks?

Well, now, delays reasonably attributable to the background checks extend the 60 days in the statute, right?

So, there must be another FBI NCIC. That is, there must be two. Right?

Since some counties issue within a few weeks but other counties take 4-6 months and sometimes 2.5 years.

Right?

Uh, right?
