Effectively says if another state honors our WL we will honor theirs. Or did I misread this one?

Basically it says other states need not honor any licenses we issue to persons 18-20 years of age. The potential of such licenses caused an issue between Virginia and Georgia. Virginia passed legislation to fix this issue, but the Governor vetoed it last week. This bill is probably introduced in response to the news of that veto.

We are working hard on getting the veto overridden. Do not be real surprised if it happens.

Even if that happens, there are other states with the same issue. Thankfully, our attorney general has not yet figured that out (yet). At least with HB 406, the attorney general would be prevented from pulling this nonsense again with another state other than Virginia.

I think once the Governor signs it, by July 1 the issue GCO is suing over will be moot here in Georgia. See lines 20-21.

This will also be the first time the Attorney General has an official role in the process. See lines 22-24.

I am not sure yet what I think about that. I will definitely be keeping an eye on Mr. Carr.
