More people in Hawaii apply for gun permits.

But the local FBI Agent praises the state's "strict gun control," which is alone responsible for the island's low homicide rate.

:roll:

A total of 8,695 private firearm permit applications were processed in Hawai'i in 2005, the latest year for which numbers are available.
It does not say anywhere how many were approved in this may issue state.

George Soros ranks Hawaii as the number 2 state . . .

Brady is quoted, too . . .

Read about it at the link above.

Perhaps it's the state's "other" crop that keeps murder rates low.

{toke}..."hey man, wanna go hurt some howlies?"...{toke}..."yea, sure, but I just heard the waves are good at the cove"....{toke}..."oh...cool"...{toke}

:lol:

I think this report is about permits to purchase. Forget getting a permit to carry.

I've read two different numbers out there regarding how many carry permits have been issued in HI.

It's either 1 or 0.
Na, it's gotta be more than that. The governor has to have at least a few friends. ;)

so the state has to issue a permit to aquire a firearm of any discription and no private citizen was issued a ccw permit in any of the 3 years listed. i guess i won't ever be going there :cry: why is it that all the places most people consider to be paridise are run by a bunch of libb's.
