Hey all, I have a question for you.

In Missouri in 1999 I received a non drug/non violent suspended imposition of sentence. Basically means I pled guilty to a stupid college prank and once I completed probation, my record was "sealed" and do not have a conviction on my record. Since I completed the SIS, I have been able to legally purchase 3 guns from gun dealers.

I know on the GWL app it asks if I ever plead guilt and I know Ill have to answer yes because it will show on the background check. My question is this; Since I have the SIS from 99, would that bar me from a GWL?

Thanks!

There where two as part of the sis.
1. Property damage 1st degree
2. Tampering first with a motor vehicle

DonT thanks for the link. I've read it and unless I missed it, it doesn't specifically tell me that I will be turned down for this item as it is considered a first time offense.

Thanks for that link. They are both felines.

Here is the reason I posted here. I fond the link you sent before I posted and came across this in the code:

"Convicted" means an adjudication of guilt. Such term shall not include an order of discharge and exoneration pursuant to Article 3 of Chapter 8 of Title 42."

And when I read that article, http://law.justia.com/codes/georgia/2010/title-42/chapter-8/article-3/42-8-60/
it seems to refer to the ga version of an sis. So before throwing some cash away, I wanted to see if anyone had been successful with the article above.

Thanks
