STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. -- The banks were closed so apparently a gunman turned to a supermarket for some quick cash.
The suspect held up the ALDI Food Mart at 5420 N. Henry Blvd. in Henry County on Saturday night around 9:35.
Police said the thief pulled a silver revolver and robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of cash.
He wore a black T-shirt, black pants, and a skull cap, according to witnesses.
They told police the suspect is 18-22 years old, weighs 140-150 and stands 5'6" to 5'8".
He escaped on foot.
A security camera caught the suspect walking into the store.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Detective Mike Ireland at 770-288-8260 or after hours at 770-957-9121.
