So whats the deal with keeping a gun in my car glove compartment? Can I leave it in all the time. Or do i have to leave it at home when i intend to go to any public places?

Concealed is concealed.

Although I wouldn't leave a gun in the glovebox.

That being said, I don't condone any kind of illegal behavior such as carrying to the parking lot of a public gathering (NOT a "public place" as you said), nor, I'm sure, does anyone here.

It is technically illegal to have a firearm in your car in the parking lot of a public gathering.

But it is done all the time by well meaning people who have no idea . . . including legislators.

If you do keep a gun in the glovebox please keep it in some type of holster. I believe MP stated that triggers do not get along well with tire gauges and all.

To hear some folks around here rave about them, I thought with the great SAFE ACTION on a Glock that it needed human intervention before it would shoot.
Well I do declare I am mortified to think that they are as dangerous as other guns.
