The body of a man was found on Georgia Tech's campus in a stolen truck parked next to the student center Tuesday night.
Atlanta police have not determined whether the white male was a student or how he died, said investigator D.R. Dumas.
The body was found in the cab of a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck in a parking lot used by students and visitors. The lot is next to the Fred B. Wenn Student Center at 350 Ferst Drive, where sorority rush was taking place Tuesday.
The truck had Alabama plates and had been reported stolen in that state, said Tech public information officer Matt Nagel. The dead man had both Alabama and Georgia driver's licenses, Dumas said.
The body was taken to the Fulton County Medical Examiner to determine a cause of death.
"We've just got a lot of questions right now," Dumas said at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Atlanta police will lead the investigation and Georgia Tech's campus police will work with them.
Late Tuesday, students were milling around the student center, some trying to get a better look at what police were doing.
