Anybody else play in their spare time? I freakin' LOVE the game.

I'm gonna go ahead and put it out there... I'll take on any one, any time, and song, your place or mine, your guitar or mine and BEAT YOU.

This challenge is up for realz for anyone who thinks they have the skills to take on the master.

you should try Frets on Fire.

Not only is it free, but there are a crap load of mods to make it work just like GH II, and you can import all your GH tracks. Also there are a bunch of songs on the various torrent tracker sites, I have over 300 songs in my Frets on Fire track list, there are some so-so ones, but the rest of them ROCK!

plus the hardware requirements aren't that steep, and you use the keyboard like the GH guitar, you can play it on about just anything.

If I had a wired GH guitar, I'd play FoF in an instant. I don't like the keyboard setup and the wireless doesn't work with the PS2-to-USB adapter I soldered together.

There are some mods out there for the GH guitar. I also saw one where a guy modified a cheap electric guitar with press panels, and the pick bar. I'll see if I can find a link.

I will admit though that using the keyboard is pretty Rockin. HOMEROW'D
