just to go on a side rant.. who started this "Think of the children" stuff??

I grew up in the early late 60's- 70's Wile coyote always blew himself up
elmer fudd always had a double barrel shotgun, bugs bunny was pretty violent.. bewitched always had HUGE martini's

I never heard Think of the children then and I'm normal 8)

I feel like too many people stick kids in a bubble - then when they get dumped into real life - they are screwed.

I have to agree with you. When I was growing up most parents said, "Aw just let him be, he'll learn not to do that again."

I let my son find out a lot of stuff on his own. As a parent it can be hard but some of the best lessons I learned really hurt.

I was the same way. I was the youngest of five children, 4 of us boys. My parents had already seen it all by the time I started getting in trouble.
