Since the human rectum can hold 5 liters of material (gross, but true) does that mean I should expect for the TSA to begin performing preflight prostate exams? Just trying to figure out if I should schedule my annual exam or if the TSA will be providing that as part of my government health care package?

Hey, now you're thinking! And instead of the body scan, we could just get MRIs before getting on the plane.

    This could be a win/win!

The rectum? I don't think so.

Perhaps you meant the small and large intestine / colon.

Some people just have to be soooo specific.

But it is true. Once you have cleansed your colon, and after some stretching the human poop machinery can hold up to 5 liters of material ... more than enough liquid explosive to bring down a jumbo jet. Just my humorous way of pointing out that anything short of full examination of human body cavities is a useless exercise in security.

Don't doubt it. People with Toxic Megacolons can probably hold over five gallons.
