I took my new Uncle Mike's left-handed IWB holster to the local upholstery shop for a few modifications: moving the clip and taking up some of the slack at the bottom so that the gun sits a little higher. (I'm turning it into a 4:30-5:00 position, right-handed, palm-out, IWB holster). I also had my firearm on under my coat.

While trying to explain what I wanted done, I said "I have my handgun with me. Can I show you what I mean?" He said "Sure." Took out my gun, dropped the mag., safety checked the chamber, and then put it into the new holster. No muss, no fuss. :righton:

You should share the name of the service business so others in your area know they are a Pro-Carry shop and can support them whenever upholstery is needed!

Ok, now I get it. I usually do carry with one in the chamber (always at night); however, I'd been dry-firing with snap caps earlier, this was my only stop, and I anticipated taking out my handgun, so I didn't chamber a round.
