I have a G20 and I keep the magazine loaded to capacity (15 Rounds) of Winchester 175 gr. Silvertips. I noticed today that the bottom of the magazine appears to be bulging out. Is this normal or should I be rotating magazines out. This mag stays fully loaded, even at the range as I use different mags for shooting.

Pretty much normal from what I have seen of Glock mags over the years. Doesn't seem to impair the function in my experience.

I always keep my mags loaded one short of capacity for this reason, especially the polymer ones. I've always figured that there would have to be less stress on them with that last little bit of tension left off. I had read to do this in an article years ago & believed it, so I do it.

I keep mine "topped off" so you made me look... both of my G20 mags, and one of my G29 mags are this way (the other G29 mag has a grip extension that is aftermarket).

As long as the mags don't give me any fits I'll keep them full. :righton:
