Ladies and Gentlemen, As many of you may have suspected, there have been some things going on behind the scenes in the area of Georgia gun rights. There have been hints dropped here on the forums, and even some results posted, such as the federal court Temporary Restraining Order relating to disclosure of SSNs on firearms license applications. Several individuals who participate here have been working tirelessly on issues of Georgia gun rights, as individuals, for some time and making little headway. Accordingly, they began working together, hoping to make more progress. They discovered that working together works better than working separately. We wish to announce the formation of Georgiacarry.org ("GCO"). Founded in the summer of 2006, GCO is an all volunteer, nonpartisan, grassroots organization that will work toward making Georgia's constitutional right to keep and bear arms a reality for Georgia's citizens. The web site will be up this weekend at www.georgiacarry.org GCO invites all persons who support the right to keep and bear arms to join us in our efforts.
I like the site. IT seems to be up, but a lot of links don't work because they reference gc.localhost.com I don't know if you are aware or not.
Those links all work if you replace gc.localhost.com with georgiacarry.org by hand in your browser. But the pages still need to be fixed.
All eight of the US maps comparing Georgia concealed carry laws to those of other states. They are all located on: http://georgiacarry.org/cms/?page_id=3
Also, why is there no page detailing contact information, such as an email address, should someone want to write to report site problems, ask questions, etc?
Some work, some don't. I hit refesh and even changed browsers. I get the error Server cannot be found and it is trying to load http://gc.localhost.com/cms/images/Alco ... urants.gif
Nice find Sine. This should be made a sticky somewhere to remind us all of how these guys began the journey of the juggernaut GCO has become.

A slight correction .... 18 months.. Hopefully by month 30, we have a totally revamped law to cheer about.
Best. Decision. Ever. So, did you guys set 1 1/2 years as the goal to reform the law, or was it a spur of the moment thing.
