I just wanna put in a good word for the folks at Ga. arms ammo in Villa Rica. I have called them numerous times and they have been friendly and helpful. I have also been to the shop for purchases and not only are they still friendly and helpful, but bend over backwards to satisfy the customer.

Give'em a try.... Art 8)

They have a showroom in Villa Rica. Get off exit 24 on I-20, go north on state highway 61/101. HWY 61 and 101 split at the intersection of Federal HWY 78. Go straight at that intersection (you will be going north on HWY 101) You will be on Industrial Park Ave. As soon as you cross over the railroad tracks, take that the first road on the right. They are in the building on the right.

I've heard good things about them as well. I have used about 200 rounds of teir .45 acp in my Kimber 1911 and was very happy with how it shot. No FTF or FTE.

BTW... in order to get in the door, you have to ring the buzzer to be recognized, and they'll let you in....

+10 on everything listed above. These guys are great and so is their ammo. Between my sons and myself, we have easily gone thru 3K+ rounds of 9mm, 45 acp and 380 acp without a single failure. Their quality control seems to be excellent and I can testify that the customer service is superb. Picked up 500 rounds of ammo that was labeled 380 on the can but got home to find it contained 9mm. Called them and they immediately ups'd me a can of 380 with the shipping label to return the 9mm. I got the 380 the next day.

These are the kind of people I support even if it costs a bit more (which I really don't think it does, at least not based on what Wally World is charging around me)

They are not that cheap at the Walmart near my house. Last time I was there it was $18.95/100.

Went by Georgia Arms today and picked up a bucket of .40S&W.
500 rounds for $90... $9 per 50 for those not wanting to do the math

They also give credit for empty brass you return.

Unless you have a bias against Wolf, sportsmansguide.com sells 1000 rounds of .40 for 134.97 ($6.75 per 50). For mowing through ammo at the range, it's hard to beat.

I have only used their 7.62 x 39. It is Russian, if memory serves me correctly.

Boys and Girls, brace yourselves. Ammo is going up again before the first of the year, maybe twice. It will go up again in January. I do not know why, but I do know it is.

Blame it on the industrial growth in India and China. Simple supply and demand.

I have always used their stuff for deer hunting. I recently purchased some at a gun show for my .380 and 9mm, it was clean, and i had no problems with it. I think that their deals on ammo can quantities are hard to beat, especially if you want to support someone here rather than in a 2nd world country!
