GCO needs your help! Cobb County Gun Show Nov 6-7

Support GCO by volunteering at the RK Gun Show at Jim Miller Park in Marietta November 6 - 7! Please sign up for an hour or two to help GCO recruit new members. Gun shows are one of the best ways of getting GCO's name out there and signing up new members.

If you have never worked a gun show before, it is easy and lots of fun. Please check out the Gun Show Guidelines for Volunteers.

The Cobb shows have always been a great recruiting venue for us. The more volunteers the better!

Hey guys, I let this one get away from me. This show is next weekend and I need help! I will have very little time this week to check this thread and update the schedule, so please bear with me. I will update as often as I can. Thanks, everyone!

As always, I'll be there Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm (possibly 3:00 pm) until closing time and will handle the money, sign up sheets, etc.

Oh yeah. BTW, there's another show scheduled for the weekend of November 13 & 14.

At your urging, I signed up to coordinate that one. Consequently, I fully expect you'll be there for me!

After all, you are my very favorite Little Sure Shot Buddette.....

(Yeah people. I've seen her shoot and she definitely qualifies for that title.)

I'll try to be there to support some this weekend but I can't give specific info on when since I have quite a few other things going on this weekend that don't have definitive days/times set yet. If there are blank spots by this weekend I'll try to organize my schedule to try and fill those first though.

I said 3 pm, but I can probably make it by 2 ad I'd hate to leave Ol' Mark there all alone for an hour. He'd have to talk to himself for the whole hour!

Not that I have any doubts he could handle it...

Good times at booth today. It was a bit slow (I think we had 10 sign ups and 4 renewals when I left it to Mack and Mary. Special thanks to Tomb and Mitzi who signed up to help fill the Sat. gap and spare some of the folks from my bad jokes.

Actually, it was 8 new and 6 renews, but yeah, the total was 14. The parking lot was almost empty when I got there at 230pm.

BTW, whoever's working there today - it was TOASTY inside there yesterday...
