Members of GCO are invited to a "Friday lunch" membership meeting in Roswell at 11:30 on Friday, March 9, 2007, at a cost of $7 per person.

Commitments to attend should be emailed to the GCO email address by 3/5.

GCO will email directions to those responding.

The purpose of the meeting will mainly be to introduce some of the members to each other and discuss GCO priorities for 2007. This meeting will not be open to nonmembers.

Will it be at a restaurant that serves alcohol?

By the way, I dropped my membership in the mailbox today, so expect it in a few days.

No, but it will require "concealed" carry to please the landlord.

In response to several questions received via email, the proper email address is the email at the bottom of the GCO page.

Fridays are not good for us South Georgia Members. Although, the Lee and Daugherty County Chapters met for breakfast earlier in the month.

Two more questions:

1. Where do I buy the time machine?

2. When I do go back to the year 2004 I will not be of legal age to obtain a GFL. Will the property owner still allow me to carry my Glock?

+1

From my office in Norcross, I can make N. Point Mall in about 20 mins. I can't take much more than 1 1/2 hours for lunch.

Sounds like a good excuse to take the afternoon off work.

I'll most likely go but I'll send a confirmation before 3/5 as requested when I find out for sure.

We plan to spend only about 45 minutes talking, and eating can be performed concurrently. The rest of the time is for Q & A and discussion.

Sorry. A weekday lunch was all we could schedule on short notice, and the north side of Atlanta is the central point for most members. The short notice is because crossover day is approaching in the General Assembly.

How about a phone in option? Anyone there going to have a cell with speakerphone capability? We could arrange for the Southwest Georgia Chapters to meet and phone in...

PS: This is a serious question as stupid as it may sound...

Folks, there will be future meetings in different places. This was simply the most convenient for the most members for a first meeting, and the issue is urgent, so time is of the essence.

I urge as many as can make it to show.

Just as an fyi, if its anything to do with getting together for public representation (like for the Senate...) let us know. I won't be taking a day off from work to go to a GCO meeting but I would for something like representing my rights...
