Please mark your calendars for GCO's fall luncheon, tentatively set for:

Saturday, November 17

Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center

GCO's speaker will be a Georgia criminal defense attorney on the topic of Georgia law relating to lethal self defense and "now what?"

Shooting to follow the lunch (target, not self defense).

Expect pricing in the $15 range for the lunch.

You sure you mean target, and not children? Because the AJC told me that GFL holders are all child killers!

Not sure what my schedule will be that time of the year but I hope to make it.

Did anyone look at the map of the park in the link posted above? Small creek that feeds a couple of lakes in the park called Murder Creek

Location

Just for the record, this wildlife center is located about 10 miles from Covington, GA, just a bit south of I-20 on Hwy 11. It's not far from Atlanta, especially the south and east suburbs, and ditto for Athens with its southern suburbs.

I'd like to go, and I'll have to check my schedule a little closer to the event. But it sounds like a good meeting with a very interesting speaker.
