Does this revoke our right to use a GFL as a voter ID?

I think we need to require Photo ID to vote.
Prove you are a citizen, Prove you haven't already voted three times under different names today, Prove that you are not a felon.
How hard is that. This whole crap about "undue burden" is just that Crap.
Anyone can get a State issued ID for $20.00

Heck, I bet we could arrange a program where everone could get a photo ID for free if we did it right.

It isn't over yet, I fully expect the ACLU and others to appeal to the Feds and asking for and getting, another stay while the case is pending in the Federal District Court.

The only reason for arguing against voter ID is so that it makes it easier to commit voter fraud.

Or so we don't spend a lot of money on it.
Or so we don't waste time on it.
Or so we can make more generalizations.

Big deal. Living, dead, illegal alien with or without photo ID it does not matter. Your votes can easily be manipulated without leaving a trace now that we're all using those spiffy paper trail-less closed source software loaded Diebold touch screen machines anyway.

What's worse is that people are buying the excuse that it would be impossible/unfeasable to hook up a freaking printer with 2 part paper to these machines. You know like the credit card receipt you get at the JiffyMart when you buy gas.

    I didn't...

    USMC,
I think your point is correct, we won't be able to use our GFL. I have never used it for that purpose because I never really thought about it. I am surprized GA doesn't have a photo on it like FL. :?:

You can already get a free ID card through the state. I don't know the details but do recall that cost was one of the original complaints folks fighting against requiring photo ID cards had. Apparantly poor people are so poor they can't afford a driver's license. However, they can still afford cars (but not the DL) and most importantly cigarrettes.

Concerning the lack of a photo on our GFL - what is all that about? When I received my first one in the mail and it had my fingerprint but not my photo I thought it was a joke. I know they didn't take a photo but guess I assumed they would use my DL photo. What good is a fingerprint on a card to a LEO or anyone else in the field? Fingerprints on file YES, fingerprints on my actual DL WHY?

If voting could change anything, it would be illegal.

Someone voted Ron Paul into office, so I don't share your pessimism.

I don't use it because I don't want the election people to get the idea that I might be carrying.

But then when Firearms Licenses are no longer required/necessary, what will happen? :crossfinger:
