I went to Wally World on Tuesday to get a fishing license and was shocked to find they required a SS#

I told the guy that my GFL does not require a SS#(thanks to GCO)...the guy just shrugged and charged me twice for 1 license

    Exception

There is an exception in the federal law for recreational licenses. Its to track dead beat dads.

Charged you twice for one license? Why is that?

Yeah, I lost that argument with the poor girl behind the counter at the gas station too.

She didn't seem to care about the Federal Privacy Act at all.

Because the guy was a motard  Took over ten minutes at the Customer (no) Service counter to get refunded

That's nuts... Don't they sell lifetime licenses? That might be worth it for me one of these days... No problem on the link, too. I searched for it because of the post here about the law requiring SS#.
