Update:At this time, the male offender is unknown and is described as possibly being in his early to mid 30's with short dreads wearing a dark color Chicago Bulls jacket and a dark backwards ball cap.

Suspect in weekend sexual assault caught and in custody
The suspect - wanted for sexually assaulting a female victim at gunpoint at Georgia College last weekend - was caught around noon today, transported and booked into the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center.
Jarvis Javion Lawrence, 20, was apprehended by Georgia College Public Safety with assistance from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, Milledgeville Police Department, Georgia Department of Probation and Parole and U.S. Marshall's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Lawrence was identified as the suspect from a surveillance video, taken in the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 25. GC Public Safety was notified an assault reportedly took place between 2:30 and 3 a.m. behind Bell Hall. The suspect and victim were not students at Georgia College. The victim reported she was held against her will at gunpoint, then the offender fled campus on foot northbound towards W. Thomas Street. Warrants were issued Monday, Feb. 27, for Lawrence's arrest.
