Update:

UPDATE: Thursday, March 2 at 4 p.m.
Suspect in weekend sexual assault caught and in custody
The suspect - wanted for sexually assaulting a female victim at gunpoint at Georgia College last weekend - was caught around noon today, transported and booked into the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center.
Jarvis Javion Lawrence, 20, was apprehended by Georgia College Public Safety with assistance from the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office, Milledgeville Police Department, Georgia Department of Probation and Parole and U.S. Marshall's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Lawrence was identified as the suspect from a surveillance video, taken in the early morning hours of Saturday, Feb. 25. GC Public Safety was notified an assault reportedly took place between 2:30 and 3 a.m. behind Bell Hall. The suspect and victim were not students at Georgia College. The victim reported she was held against her will at gunpoint, then the offender fled campus on foot northbound towards W. Thomas Street. Warrants were issued Monday, Feb. 27, for Lawrence's arrest.
Dayum, its all because of that campus carry bill. If that was not the law he would not have had a gun to terrorize that girl with. Blame the NRA!

So is he white or asian? With dreads. Which is it?
Sexually assaulted? Is that like rape, or did he merely threaten to touch her buttocks? Words mean things, reporters. Stop giving us your sanitized, PC version of the world.

Well since it didn't say he had dreads in one and the other said dreads but with no other info then the default understood is he's african american.

A quick search confirms.

Lawrence was charged with rape, aggravated sodomy, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and probation violation, records show.

rape, aggravated sodomy,
Ah, I see. That is quite a bit worse than mere "sexual assault." Why do reporters always use that term? It minimizes what happened.

This time they are just using the info provided by the school( post #2 ).
