In light of recent outbreaks of violence on college campuses and schools, Attorney General Baker will work with his colleagues in the National Association of Attorneys General on the task force to identify legal and policy barriers to ensure that students have safe learning environments.
at the end...

Experts in school security, behavioral specialists, educators, students, and other advocates will be invited to meet with Attorneys General in order to develop a comprehensive report with recommendations to the states in September. .

I think GCO needs to be one of those "other advocates."

Hey Purge. Thank you so much for volunteering...

That was almost a joke, but we really do need people attending who are articulate and able to state our positions. Would you be able to attend and represent us?

I would be interested in seeing a joint approach. Purge as a teacher, Ramm as a student, and one of our legal types to address all three points of view.

If he can't do it as a student, I humbly submit myself... 4 years experience in debate, well-spoken, clean cut.

"Well-spoken, clean cut..." Whoa Big Feller! Aren't you and Ramm the guys who use crack, drink and carry guns? Ya know. The type people the Brady Bunch has warned us about?

Maybe we should reconsider whom we have representing us here... I mean, after all, we're trying to present a positive image here. You two wild men show up along with MP wearing "that" tie... Well, our cause is as good as lost.....

Hey Adam: Maybe ya wanna think about this a little bit???

As a teacher I have always felt like Israel has led the way in showing what could be done to stop armed attacks against schools. The Libtards would of course would shout that we don't have terrorists attacking schools. Perhaps not, but the goal of the PLO, Hammas, and school shooters are all the same...to murder as many innocent people as possible. The politics involved maybe way different, but the ultimate goal is the same. I think that if somehow this argument could be made then maybe we might make some leeway like SC has in recent days.

Now, I don't want to arm every single staff member on campus....because trust me there are some that I wouldn't trust to have enough sense to sharpen a pencil much less use a gun. However, if a teacher had a GFL and wanted to conceal, then by all means do so. Those teachers that have GFL on campus could possibly train with local LEO and plan out tactics for a school shooting. I know that the local SWAT teams runs drills in all of our schools when we are not in session. Although that is great....it still serves no purpose in truly saving innocent lives. We all know that seconds count and I don't think our local SWAT could be assembled to respond to a major school shooting for at least 30-60 minutes, which is most cases is about way too late. I am fortunate to have 2 good deputies that are on campus, but once again they cannot be everywhere all the time and often have to leave to respond to calls in the local area or occasionally transport students to jail.

This is an older link but it is relevant

Well, yes, I'll admit I'm not clean-cut or well-spoken when I'm on the rock. I tend to go out on sprees where I have unprotected sex with as many people as possible, I shoot puppies for fun, commit randon murders and robberies, take the Lord's name in vain, remove the tag on the couch under penalty of law, talk in church, and make obscene gestures at nuns.

As long as I'm crack-free, though, I don't do any of that except make obscene gestures at nuns, and that's only if they're wielding rulers.

There is a potential threat right here and schools and public gatherings would be an easy target. Thousands of innocent victims… If the Muslims in America don’t like what’s going on in the middle east we need to be prepared-in our schools.
