some funeral homes have churches in them...
ok. reason im asking is because the dead sisters husband is going to be there, and he had made numerous death threats to me before. but in all honesty, if the punk acts up tomorrow, id rather just pound his face in. the worst part though, is i dont even know what he looks like. the sister had show him pictures of me, so he knows what i look like.rmodel65 said:some funeral homes have churches in them...

OK, we need to know what the definition of a place of worship is in Georgia.budder said:(b) A person shall be guilty of carrying a weapon or long gun in an unauthorized location and punished as for a misdemeanor when he or she carries a weapon or long gun while:MyFred said:Yes, some funeral homes have a Chapel, but can those Chapels be called a Church? That would take case law. I hope we have it fixed before then. Preferably with this case but a law change would work.tmoore912 said:OK, we need to know what the definition of a place of worship is in Georgia.

There is nothing wrong with defending yourself if you're in bodily harm, but otherwise the phrase "in one ear and out the other" comes to mind. It's a funeral, a day to show respect to your dead sister.270sniper said:ok. reason im asking is because the dead sisters husband is going to be there, and he had made numerous death threats to me before. but in all honesty, if the punk acts up tomorrow, id rather just pound his face in. the worst part though, is i dont even know what he looks like. the sister had show him pictures of me, so he knows what i look like.

The IRS, which apparently is unconstrained by the First Amendment, has nonetheless ventured where angels fear to tread, and has established criteria which, in its view, define a church as follows:
1. A distinct legal existence
2. A recognized creed and form of worship
3. A definite and distinct ecclesiastical government
. . . (11 more points) . . .
Still a day to show respect. If you're not there to show the dead woman/girl your final repects, then why attend?270sniper said:not my sister.phantoms said:There is nothing wrong with defending yourself if you're in bodily harm, but otherwise the phrase "in one ear and out the other" comes to mind.
