Don't "white hat" hackers give Microsoft so many weeks to fix their security holes before publishing the exploit?
Wouldn't TSA have some serious egg on their face if he did the same?
I rather doubt that TSA is ignorant of how to get past the scanner. They'd just see the scanners as part of a family of techniques. Scanners would possibly stop the "script kiddies" of the bomber world, not the determined terrorist. The Times Square bomber, underwear bomber, shoe bomber were script kiddies, and they weren't stopped.
I don't get it. Wasn't there a time when buying a one-way ticket with cash to/from suspect countries invited serious scrutiny? Isn't that what both the clothing bombers did?
Israelis would know. They have some of the safest airlines in the world.
