If you're an a-hole to me, I'm going to naturally want to treat you like an enemy who has no rights and is deserving of nothing but contempt and a good bitch slapping.

See, there is your problem. If you have nothing but contempt for those that dislike you and feel they are not deserving of rights and free to assault, that there says a lot. I do not have any hate or contempt for those I dislike, nor those that dislike me. I recognize they are broken and hope the best for them as they figure it out. I have discovered what angers me most in others is a reflection upon myself. Don't get me wrong. I ain't their buddy either. But I genuinely wish them no overt animosity, but holding the snark in check is challenging.
