I was listening to Fox News this morning referring to Manning several times as "she" and "her." Political correctness to the point of delusion even at Fox News.

Most certainly. I think there has been a distinct shift at Fox News since the "boys" took over. I can't really speak to my opinion as I haven't really watched too much cable news over the last few years.

I have heard that a lot of hardcore Fox views have moved over to OAN...I know my Dad watches that channel and enjoys it.
They were even saying "she" was justified in revealing that the gov was lying and then lying about the lying (of US collateral damage killings in the mid east wars)

Deep state needs deep secrets I suppose.
The bulk release of 750,000 documents indicates, to me, that Manning didn't care what was released as long as there was a possibility that something might be damaging.

That said, I don't really care about what pronoun someone wants to be referred by, Sir, Ma'am, Ms, Syr, Ser, They.... whatever floats their personal gender identity boat. Just don't jump on me when I fall back on what I was taught instead of this new-fangled stuff.
I agree with MP. A mutilated man does not merit the use of "she" or "her". For those who can't handle that, reality doesn't care. All actual women should be highly offended at the diminishment of female gender pronouns.
Funny story, I was at a gas station recently, and there was one such clerk ringing me up at the register, my brain could obviously tell that it was a female, even if the female was trying its hardest to hide all forms of femininity and appear as manly as possible (she was doing a great job), without even thinking about it and falling back on my upbringing, after asking me a question, I replied, "Yes Ma'am."

The sad thing is I actually sort of caught myself, and you should have seen the look on the clerk's face, but in the end I gave no figs, and realize that I'm not going to bow down to their PC bull****.

I'm not sure if the clerk was offended, and I certainly didn't care to ask, and certainly no offense was meant on my part, as it was completely autonomic and I didn't give any thought to it as I said it.

Sticking feathers out of your butt does not make you a chicken, mutilating your penis does not make you a woman.
She's alright. Just hasn't figured how to deal with that time of the month yet.

But they will jump on you. That is the point. It is practically a hate crime.
Even Wikipedia refers to Bradley Edward Manning as her and she when describing historical events that occurred long before his first estrogen shot.

It also uses the name Chelsea Manning to describe events occurring long before Bradley Edward Manning changed his name to pretend to be a female.

And the picture on Wikipedia cracks me up - a man with the beginning of some breast tissue swelling like a 13 year old girl, so proud of it that he has his top open down almost to his belly button . . . yeah, that's a way to make voters take you seriously as a candidate to the highest legislative chamber, historically reserved for aristocrats and statesmen.
I don't care what personal pronouns "Chelsea" elects to use. That person is a traitor and should be in jail. The pardon of Chelsea Manning is an inditement of everything that was wrong with Barack Obama's view of America and what an American society should be.

If a man can claim to be a woman, and "prove" that he is through hormones and having his tallywacker snipped off...

...can a human being claim to be a lizard, and "prove" that he's a reptile by showing the results of several body modifications, including scale tattoos, implanted horns, having his tongue surgically split into a forked tongue, etc?

https://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/13-most-extreme-body-modifications/3/

Could he demand that a veterinarian give him a medical check-up for $39, because of the sign in the window at the local pet hospital?

You can probably be forced to care, depending upon what state you live in, and the consequences of not caring could be extreme even in states that do not criminalize using the wrong pronouns.

Ah America, how far we've fallen... I haven't seen any laws that regulate thought yet, but maybe it's coming.

As I said, "I don't care", I try to be polite to people and I'll refer to them as they wish, IF I'm aware of it.
There's a bill in the GA legislature right now, HB 660, that would call for mandatory minimum jail/ prison terms for ANY crime committed against a person when the victim was targeted because of race, sex, gender, homosexuality, mental retardation, physical disability, etc.

Now, think about that for a second.

If a 17 year old neighborhood punk throws an egg at the cranky old "get off my lawn" geezer who is walking down the street and limping along with the aid of his cane, and just before the kid lets the egg fly he yells "I'll bust your other leg you old cripple!" that would be an offense that demands a minimum of 60 days in jail, no early release for good behavior, no probation for the first 60 days, no suspended sentence. Two full months of actual lock-up time.

For throwing an egg. Which may have missed, anyway, and not even soiled the guy's clothing with egg white splatter. It's still assault. Misdemeanor assault. Normally for a young guy, that means 12 months probation and a $300 fine. No jail. Now it could mean 60 days of jail, getting butt-humped by the other inmates, and being expelled from school, so the kid comes out no longer on track to get a high school diploma.

This hate crimes law applies to non-violent white collar crimes, too.

You put your mentally challenged cousin's name as co-signer on a store credit application to buy a refrigerator? Felony! You chose your cousin's name because he's retarded and is less likely to notice the fraud, or react to the collection letters that may come to his home later? FELONY with 2 YEARS mandatory minimum. Again, with a normal victim who didn't actually lose any money out of pocket, this is a crime for which an offender often gets straight probation.

I was banned from another forum that I had been a member of for years for refusing to call a mutilated man a "she" or "her".

Well, what is wrong with being "correct" and "honest" even if it offends people?
