I don't think they would have. What a lot of people don't understand is that the Revolutionary War was already won before the first shot was fired. The Revolution, was won because enough people in the colonies understood and appreciated self governance and not needing a master. Unfortunately, a war with guns had to take place to make the king understand that and at that point he realized that they were serious.
In today's America, I really think that we would have no chance of winning. Not enough people love and want to freedom. Say a physical war did unfold, now let's get real hypothetical and say the people defeated whomever you define the enemy as being. Then what? You still have only about 3% of a nation that would know what to do with themselves when the imperial federal gov goes down and they stop receiving their checks.
We are in a soft war, the more people that realize that and start fighting to win the hearts and minds of individuals the sooner we will take comfort in knowing future generations can carry on the Flame of Liberty. It is each of our jobs to wake up every day and keep the Revolution alive in the minds of the people around us.
