He looked sociable, so I picked him up.

Pretty good size snake! Weird to see them this late in the year though.

Looked him over real good and then sent him on his way.

Then we went and played in teh creek.

Mom and the girls.

The girls waiting for Mom to come up the stairs.

Sure was good weather out yesterday!

Bella and Indy have the exact same look on their faces. lol

its sad when a snake cant go about his way without being molested. On a serious note the only time i pick those things up is after I've run out of ammo and its done twitching.

Same here. And then other people run up saying "We heard a little girl screaming." :)

Sweetwater Park? We go there all the time.

Only seen green tree snakes and Copperheads there.

Look for the guy with the big white dog...

Usually also towing a few kidlets with me.

I've always loved German Shepards. They are just so doggone good looking. Very loyal, too.

Also, know your snakes, some snakes are actually beneficial to us. Don't go killing the good ones. If its a poisonous and deadly snake, by all means, shoot, reload, and shoot some more until the darn things stops twitching. Especially, if you have loose dogs, as in you are hunting or they got away from you. You definitely don't want to have a bad day with a hurt or sick dog from a snake bite.

I think right after dinner I'm gonna head on over to Sweetwater. Cocoa loves it there.

Gives me an excuse to walk off dinner. :righton:

He's still got some growing to do the vet tells me....

He's approximately 18 months old and 100 pounds. Eats about 75 pounds of dog food a month, plus whatever indulgences he gets from left overs....

He's a blast!

We're all happy, he just got his annual checkup and got a clean bill of health. Now we found out we have a PetSmart opening in Austell with a Banfield in it! Nice and close so I need not drive to Douglasville.

That's a cool looking dog, Archangel. He could be my Gus' brother :) His bigger younger brother....Gus is almost 3 and weighs 80 lbs.

Gus has longer hair but a similar build and his tail curls up over his back too. We think he would have gotten bigger but he was neutered way too early (Atlanta Humane Society - they have to do it or adopters might not).

Love the shephards too, blackbirdzach!

Yours too! I was hooked up with Cocoa by samman23. He's been a wonderful addition to our family!
