Does anyone happen to know anything about this location?

I know that I'll be legal to carry there so that's not an issue.

However, is it city owned and operated? I would prefer to openly carry that day.

    Thank you

Why contact them if the city owns it?

If they have weapons screening, beware that it might a "government building".

You could ask them if they are a "government building" and if they have screening. That could save you some aggravation if you wanted to go in there while OC'ing.

You could also just ask them if carry would be an issue there, to see if they would try to pull an "Atlanta Botanical Garden" on you.

There's no screening. I carry every time we go, which is 2-3 times a year. No issues.

Thanks everyone. The agenda is to go to Flint RiverQuarium and then Chehaw.

While I have openly carried before at Chehaw Park, I've actually never been to the RiverQuarium.

I'll call them today and gauge the response.

I still see no reason to ask.

Yeah I'm leaning towards not calling and just showing up OC.
