I have conducted several good trades, buys, and sales with members from this board. I would like to provide positive feedback so that people could feel comfortable in dealing with folks from the board.

    What do ya'll think?

Some people post with how the transaction went. That's a fairly unorganized way of doing things. I know with some forums, you can have some sort of feedback thing stick with the person's username over there <-----.

I don't know if it's available for phpBB.

Not to throw a wet blanket, but some might prefer if a transaction went unrecoginized.

Is there some method by which both buyer and seller would agree to provide feedback, or it would not be posted?

If you use the mark the forum as "other" and use a code word (maybe TCQB- GPDO ROT13'd), we could use heatware.

What do you mean? Under the radar? Or someone doesn't want negative feedback?

I'm not concerned about negative feedback.

My concern is more along the lines of how public this forum is. If you sell me a weapon, I may not want to have that information disseminated.

I.e. I have a GFL, but I prefer to carry concealed.

I certainly do. And I have spoken of it to no one. In fact, I only remember your first name. And again, no offense intended, as I do respect your position.

My wife calls that position cranial-rectal inversion. And yes, I reckon I am paranoid.

I like the idea, but think we can find a way to protect anonymity.

By the way, she's a shooter.

The absolute only thing I didn't like about that gun was the ammo situation. If I had been more saavy about online ammo dealers and such, I would have kept it. Fine weapon and very accurate....but of course, several guns have come and gone since then. :D

Oh, and BTW, since we're off-topic I'll get us back on by saying that Taler is excellent to do business with.

Heh. I was referencing my wife. "She" is a shooter.

The actual purchase doesn't have to be made public in the feedback, necessarily.

But for all you know the weapon I sold him could have been an ancient Chinese stone-throwing crossbow.

Nothing has been revealed, other than I sold something to Taler. That's it.
