Feds doing gun "retrieval" from the owners ?

    There was a USA Today article as well that said about the same thing. Notice that the left (and the gov't) always want to control the language. Retrieval... Sheesh! You can't retrieve something that was never yours!!!

    Do they reimburse the owners of said gun? They "legally" purchased the gun based on the governments screw up. The left wants to extend the waiting period, then probably cut funding so it takes years.

    Another good question - How many of those lied or falsefied the 4473, and how many of those were (or will be ) prosecuted?

    How is there a firearm to retrieve? I haven't seen any stores sell someone a firearm when the background check comes back with needing the 3 day waiting period.

    But former ATF official David Chipman believes the time limit is only as short as it is as a concession to the gun industry.

    Maybe the time limit is as long as it is to appease gun control advocates. In fact, maybe the background check itself is.
