The owner of this site has written a rather thorough review of the interplay between state and federal law with respect to firearms licenses. He wrote it because of the probate courts that were insisting that a federal law or regulation barred the issuance of temporary renewal licenses, even though none of them could produce said federal law or regulation. Nevertheless, today, as I write this post, the vast majority of probate courts are violating state law on this issue. Accordingly, GS1's article is a timely and relevant read.
